ECO4 Flex Scheme

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) was a government scheme that helped eligible households improve the energy efficiency of their homes, helping to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions.

The ECO4 scheme ended on 31st March 2026 and no new applications can be accepted. However, the ECO4 Flex Statement of Intent remains in place to allow approved energy installers to complete any work that was already approved before the scheme closed.

Homeowners can no longer apply for ECO4 funding for new energy efficiency improvements.
